In one of my most recent posts, I shared a couple Halloween DIY Dollar Store DIYs and I talked about how Fall is my absolute favorite holiday.
Actually, Fall is pretty much my favorite thing in the world other than my fur babies.
So today I’m going to be sharing how to make these super easy DIY Dollar Store 3D Iron Thanksgiving Wall Sign.
While some of you might think it seems a bit early since one of my most recent posts was about decorating for Halloween and how to make DIY Halloween Faux Insect Taxidermy Wall Decor from the Dollar Tree.
Honestly, fall has consumed all my thoughts and inspiration for several months now.
The mood here on the farm has transitioned from Halloween feels to cozy Thanksgiving decor, comfort food, and the beautiful beautiful smell of crisp weather and fall leaves in the air.
The farm seems to have gotten quieter. The sun is going down sooner and the air has suddenly gotten chilly at night time.
And you know what you guys….?
I’m so excited about it!!!
You’re probably getting tired of hearing me talk about fall.
If so, I’m sorry. But I’m really not sorry even a little bit!
I LOVE Fall!!!
Anyway, these 3D signs are so simple to make and were inspired by none other than the fabulous Chip & Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia home decor line from a few years ago.
The great part about these signs is they are not only easy to make and also cheap ($1 total for all three) but they’re not just seasonal!!
The Dollar Store signs came in a pack of three. One says Harvest, another Thankful and the last Welcome.
While the “Harvest” and “Thankful” signs are more Fall and Thanksgiving-related, the “Welcome” sign can be hung year-round!
I see wrought iron calligraphy signs all over the place in home decor now, but they’ve always been one of those things I’ve said I’ll buy and never do.
So when I say these metal signs at the Dollar Tree inspiration struck. I knew I had to get them, and I knew exactly how I’d repurpose them!
The other amazing part about these 3D DIY Dollar Tree Signs is that although they’re metal they are very light so it doesn’t take a lot of hardware to hang them.
Therefore they won’t damage your walls so you can move them around to decorate with in different ways.
Here’s what you’ll need to make them…
Materials:
- 1 Pack of Dollar Store Metal Signs
- Rust-Oleum spray paint in Oil Rubbed Bronze Metallic
- Hot Glue gun and glue sticks
- Clear thumb tacks
Like I said it’s a super simple DIY.
All you have to do is spray both sides of the signs with the Rust-Oleum spray paint in Oil Rubbed Bronze Metallic.
Wait for it to dry, and then hot glue the clear thumb tacks to the back in the area you feel will make the tacks less visible when on the wall.
And that’s it you’re all done!! Wasn’t I right? The easiest DIY ever!
